Celebrate International Women’s Day by Supporting ‘We Are Like Waves’ Documentary

The Inertia

WE ARE LIKE WAVES is a short documentary that follows Sanu, a young girl from the island of Sri Lanka, and her struggle to become one of the first female Sri Lankan surfers, shifting the country’s mindset that surfing is for men and boys only. Directed by Jordyn Romero, an award-winning documentary filmmaker whose films seek to elevate female stories in the outdoor sphere. This particular piece from Jordyn needs your help to come to light! WE ARE LIKE WAVES just launched a crowdfunding campaign to help cover production and distribution costs, and get the film on screens around the world.
