Ben Gravy Almost Died Tanker Surfing

Ben Gravy has carved out a career in the surfing industry by surfing weird waves. He also surfs good waves and very large waves, but his meat and potatoes are the weird ones. Rivers, wave pools, and tanker waves are what he’s all about, and in his most recent YouTube offering, he put himself in a bit of danger. Ben Gravy almost died tanker surfing. He, along with Ryan Mack, headed out to the Delaware river on a day that they probably shouldn’t have.

“The wind chop was out of control causing us to flip and lose the dinghy boat with the motor still running,” he said. “The dinghy boat started working its way towards shore while we were left in the water two miles from our destination. Thankfully everything worked out and we are safe, but it was an extremely heavy situation.”
